We don’t treat patients. We treat people.

Caring for others is a highly personal occupation. And we believe the practice of medicine goes beyond just the diagnosis of a particular problem. Here at Longview Radiologists, you’re not just a name or number on an imaging study. You are an individual. And your best interest is our number-one priority.

We strive to make every experience you have with us a good one. That’s why everyone on our staff, from the most experienced radiologist to the newest office assistant, takes the time to stop and ask: “What will be best for this person?”

Offering nothing but the best care since 1948...

Longview Radiologists was founded in 1948 by Dr. Henry D. Fuesner who was later joined by Dr. John N. Burkey. Incorporated in 1970, the only radiology services we offered at the time were diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopy. The practice of medical imaging has grown since then. And we’ve grown with it.

Broadly expanding the scope of our services, we built an imaging center that opened in December 2002, adding advanced imaging procedures through the use of CT and Open MRI – the only instrument of its kind within a 35-mile radius. Expanding again in 2008, we added approximately 1,000 square feet to our facility and installed a High Field 1.5 MRI. As a result, our business has increased exponentially. In 2002, we performed 30 diagnostic, ultrasound and fluoroscopy exams… total. Now, it’s not unusual for us to perform a total of 80 diagnostic x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI and CT exams… in a single day.

Supporting You. Supporting Our Community

We support our local community through sponsorship and contributions to the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts, St. John Medical Center Foundation and various charitable organizations. As a staff, we recognize a special charity each quarter to devote our time and resources to. Among those we’ve supported are Wear Red for Women’s Hearts and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Our goal is to be the best medical imaging service in the region. We proudly serve our neighbors in the cities of Longview, Kelso, Chehalis, Centralia, Long Beach, Cathlamet, Rainier, Woodland, Astoria, Clatskanie and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
